Q: Where can I park on Thursday and Friday?
A: We recommend parking in the Wilmington Street Deck. While street parking is available, you'll have to run to the meter every 1-2 hours — unless you park on the outskirts of Downtown Raleigh, on Person Street, East Hargett Street and East Martin Street.
Q: I'm flying into RDU Airport for the big event! What are taxi rates from RDU to Downtown Raleigh?
A: A taxi ride from RDU Airport (depending on the time of day) should take around 14 minutes, at $30.80 according to RDU Taxi Inc.
Q: How do I find out about hotel room shares?
A: Many Essential Edge attendees are splitting room costs, so you're bound to find a roommate! To do so, post a room-share request to The Artist's Online Edge Facebook page.
Q: Is breakfast included in the cost of the room?
A: Yes. Start your morning with a full buffet at our partner hotel, The Hampton Inn & Suites. Then, hop on the R-Line Circulator bus to arrive in Downtown Raleigh for Essential Edge Live 2016 at Nash Hall, 108 S. Blount Street.
Q: Is lunch included with the cost of the conference ticket?
A: Because the majority of the conference retreat is held indoors, we encourage attendees to reenergize by grabbing lunch at one of the many nearby restaurants so that you are revitalized when you return. Taking a stroll during the middle of the day has proven to increase creativity and reduce stress. Our Alumni from Essential Edge Live 2015 found that lunchtime made for good networking!
